Welcome to Beckenham Skip Hire. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before hiring our skip services. By hiring a skip from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

Booking Process

Reservations: To reserve a skip, customers must provide accurate information regarding the type and size of skip required, as well as the desired delivery and collection dates.

Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed once payment is processed. We reserve the right to cancel any booking if the information provided is incorrect or if the terms are not met.

Payment Terms

All payments must be made in advance or upon delivery, as agreed during the booking process. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

Late payments may incur additional fees. It's essential to ensure that the payment method provided is valid and has sufficient funds to cover the hire cost.

Rental Period

The standard rental period is typically between 7 to 14 days. Extensions can be requested but are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

Returns must be made on the agreed-upon date. Failure to return the skip on time may result in additional fees.

Responsibilities of the Customer

Proper Use: Customers must use the skip for its intended purpose. Overloading or improper use can lead to damages or additional charges.

Location: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the skip is placed in a suitable location with adequate access. Any ground disturbances or damages caused by the skip placement will be the customer's responsibility.

Delivery and Collection

Delivery: Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed date. Customers should ensure that there is clear access to the delivery site.

Collection: Upon completion of the rental period, our team will collect the skip. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the skip is ready for collection and all waste has been removed.

Permitted and Prohibited Items

Allowed Items: General household waste, construction debris, garden waste, and other non-hazardous materials are permitted.

Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, batteries, and electrical equipment are strictly forbidden. Disposal of prohibited items can result in fines and legal action.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a fee equivalent to the first day's hire cost.

In the event of a no-show, where the customer fails to have the skip ready for collection without prior notice, additional charges may apply.

Liability and Insurance

Beckenham Skip Hire is insured for transit and damage caused by our delivery and collection teams. However, we are not liable for any third-party damages or personal injuries that occur due to the placement or use of the skip.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all waste placed in the skip complies with local regulations and laws.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Beckenham Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

Amendments to Terms

Beckenham Skip Hire reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
